How do we heal wounds that stretch across generations? From racism and discrimination to the exploitation of marginalized communities, many of the deepest harms in our shared history were carried out—or silently permitted—by institutions meant to embody compassion and justice. For many, these legacies intertwine with personal experiences of church hurt, creating layers of pain, disillusionment, and unanswered questions.

This gathering invites our community into a guided, thoughtful, and courageous conversation about historical wrongdoing, collective memory, and the path toward repair—both within society and within Catholic spaces.

This event is for anyone seeking understanding, healing, or a deeper sense of responsibility in the face of historical and spiritual harm. Whether you carry your own story, support someone who does, or simply want to learn, you are welcome in this space of honesty, courage, and hope.
